This is a free screensaver, with no advertising or limitations, created from an 11-frame 360 degree panoramic sequence taken on Chiswick Pier on the Thames. This is a gorgeous spot where you can linger for ages just soaking up the atmosphere and watching the boats go by.The screensaver needs no installation. Just download the file "chiswick_pier_360.scr" by clicking on the thumbnail above, and put it in your Windows folder. It will then appear in your Display / Screensavers list.
It's a small 515k standalone executable file, which doesn't create or need any other files, and doesn't touch your registry. It can also be run just by double-clicking it.
To completely remove it from your system, just delete the .scr file. It's a "pure" slideshow screensaver, with no transitions, no user settings, and no help file, except this. It runs full screen, with a quick change rate of three seconds per frame to keep the rotational momentum going, and it loops in sequence forever.
If you like curious (free) screensavers, you might like to try the Chiswick Snow zooming screensaver in the Chiswick Extra section, or, even curiouser, the Mona Lisa one via the Not Chiswick section, called Infinite Mona.
