This is the house of William Hogarth, the celebrated 18th century satirical artist, and also the unveiling of his statue in Chiswick High Road.
From the outside this seems quite a grand home, but it's "deceptively cramped" - amazingly narrow in depth, with cozily cottagey rooms. In Hogarth's day this was all countryside near the river. Now the house is surrounded by offices and traffic, with various nearby places - a school, a health club, and the infamous Hogarth Roundabout - named after him.
